ROLLING OUT NEXT PV Layout Integration - EVS FastTrack now contains a full suite of tools for creating and optimizing solar layouts. It can place thousands of trackers in seconds and provides users with both automated and hands-on tools for layout refinement. Internal testing suggests EVS FastTrack will cut design time required to produce solar tracker layouts by 30-50%. This claim is backed up by internal testing, but I am okay if we don't want to include it. I know it is a big statement and I don't want clients pushing us on it immediately. This tool is currently in final beta testing and will be live for project use by Q1 2026!
CURRENTLY IN DEVELOPMENT Automated Grounding Mitigation - A proper electrical grounding design is critical to ensure human safety on solar and storage projects. Grounding design is time consuming, and a non-optimized grounding strategy wastes money in construction.
EVS FastTrack's newest addition provides our engineers with a set of tools to instantly assess various options for grounding mitigation. Based in IEEE standard methodology but built for speed, EVS FastTrack allows us to iterate through design options in seconds, where legacy tools can take 6 hours or longer per iteration to produce results. Final designs are validated using industry standard methodology, but EVS FastTrack gets there in a fraction of the time. This tool is entering beta testing now and is expected to be live for Q2 2026.
